1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ is an excellent robot vacuum that comes with a number smart features to make it easier to maintain. The automatic bin emptying feature is one of the most convenient features we've seen on an iRobot, and it works well with both hard floors and carpets. Unlike some of the other robovacs that we test, the i3+ EVO has a self-emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on the base of its charging when it's filled. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin can hold 2.4L of trash and is more than enough to get it through four or five cleaning sessions before you have to replace it.

However, the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The i7's map is used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, but not the i3+ EVO.
While the i3+ EVO is better in removing surface debris than some of the other robovacs that we tested, it's not the best for cleaning corners and edges. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It moved chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and it became stuck on cords and toys during our testing.
2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro is an excellent option, whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums or are just beginning to get started. It offers an elegant design, powerful navigation, and useful automation at a reasonable price. It's the best pound-for-pound model currently available and even matches Roborock's higher-priced models in many ways.
This robot does a great job cleaning bare floors, and its avoidance technology helps it stay clear of furniture legs and other obstacles. The only drawback is that it's noisier than other models and doesn't perform better in our user-satisfaction and predicted reliability tests.
The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin of 770ml, which means that you won't need to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. The 240-minute runtime is very generous compared to others we've examined. If the battery is depleted, it returns to its dock and recharges before resuming cleaning where it left off. You can manage the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
